“Like a Dilfy Colossus of Rhodes, Daniel Nardicio straddles parallel perches of gay culture", wrote Queerty Blog of Daniel's career.

He is the producer of seminal events and concerts including his pairing of Liza Minnelli and Alan Cumming on Fire Island and New York's Town Hall, followed by Carol Channing and Justin Vivian Bond. In 2017 he produced the all-star Edith Piaf Centennial concert on the legend’s actual 100th Birthday at Town Hall, featuring Elaine Paige OBE. In February he presented “Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs” at Carnegie Hall — based on the live album he co-produced — with special guests Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss and Ricki Lake. Nardicio segued into concerts in 2012 after 15 years in nightlife, and has worked with icons of arts and letters including John Waters, Lady Gaga, Margaret Cho, Lynda Carter, Peaches, Bridget Everett, Vivian Reed, and Christine Ebersole. Of Nardicio the New York Times quipped: "an impressively sculptured torso and an affable air of old-time show business razzmatazz. " His biggest achievement is his dog Butterball, who can often be found backstage at shows. In 2017 he opened Club Cumming, with the actor Alan Cumming.
